CLUTCH BEARING
MECHANICAL BEARING
The bearing has the function of pushing down or pulling up the pressure plate to
disengage the clutch. Even though they all perform the same function; bearings come
in different shapes and sizes to accommodate to different types of vehicles.
HYDRAULIC BEARING
The Hydraulic Bearing or Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) works without the clutch release
fork. The CSC allows for a lighter release and more precise travel of the pedal. The CSC’s
are made from plastic, aluminum or cast iron.
